It’s all about the education, letting the people we care about know just how unregulated the beauty industry is, how to read ingredients, how to find safer choices and yes duh, to use our (Beautycounter) products too…

But it goes so much further than that…in this industry with little to no regulation, we consciously ban 1800, yes you heard me, eighteen hundred harmful or questionable chemicals. Chemicals that are known hormone disruptors, chemicals known to cause birth-defects, infertility, allergies, cancer…to name a few.

Did you know that the last time a law was passed was in 1938???

At Beautycounter, we third party test all our products and work hand in hand with Tufts University to constantly evolve and bring safe clean products to YOU…

We ethically source our ingredients (have you seen our Mica video yet? It’s on my IG feed, so check it out if you haven’t), and we constantly advocate for better regulation because it’s been way too long since the last law was passed – 82 years to be exact. It definitely is important for me to share with everyone and anyone because I was one of those people that didn’t know better. But now that I do, I do better because my health and my family’s health is way more important than a cheap product, a product that smells good, a product that is popular or a designer product.
